The existing 2nd Floor plan
|
|
There isn't much I can do with
the master bedroom. I will do a few things to make it a little more livable. Like rebuild the deck, get a better heat supply, lighten up some walls with drywall and color rather than the dark wood. Other than that I concentrated on the closet and Master bathroom problems. |
|
I've extended the Master Bath over the
existing bedroom below, as the foundation is of sufficient size.
I also expanded the closet to the landing
to allow for a walk in. The alcove space at the top of the walk-in dressing will be perfect for a built in bank of drawers.
The master bathroom is now a wonderful
space, this is a his and hers type of design.
His will be more utilitarian, vinyl floor,
insert shower. Hers will be tiled sunken tub, tiled floors, a built in armoir in the corner.
The angled wall at the sink not only was
a request but will serve as a chase for the new forced air ducts, which worked out well as it was a request by the owner.
I had suggested that this would a good
space for a med cab, but she will be putting a wonderful old oval mirror here. Together I think we got the perfect design for this house. |
