The new entrance plan

The new entrance will have french doors and side lights.
That allowed me to add a new closet to the right, but more
importantly it opens the kitchen to the existing living room. I've
added another "family" entry with a covered deck to a mud
room, with an entry closet. This will have a built in cabinet
pantry and space for a stand up freezer as well.

I re-designed the laundry to allow for a sink, cabinets, with
overhead cabinet above the washer & dryer. Also a new
window which will be frosted and space for a clothes bar.

I also designed an alternative which is below.

This plan allowed for a front entry closet, but because of the
existing architecture (beams and posts) and electrical, I would
have had to leave out the sink. The owners opted for the other.

This is what the entrance will look like, I'll get a before and after
picture here in the future.
